Please note last Friday refers to last last Friday. I forgot to post this.

So since I have had loads to talk about for the past week or so, and to come, hopefully, I'm going to start uploading posts that I was meant to upload a few days ago (ages now.. I forgot to post), but was either lazy or had no time to post these. So, first off, its a gaming(sort...of) post! Beware! Long post ahead.

So last Friday, Garena had it's 2nd anniversary for LoL. They had an event in SG at Bugis+.
Being the normal me, even though I dont play the Garena version of LoL much(NA forever!), kinda just went there attempting to get a goodie bag + the free Gladiator Draven skin. I know, typical Singaporean behavior right? Sadly the event starts at 10am, and I actually had work that day so I could only head over after work. Didnt have much hopes for the goodie bags, but was still disappointed as to how it turned out.

Met up with Randy after both our work ended at Buona, since he works at One-North, the lucky dood, and headed for Bugis+. Loads of random shit went on in the train actually, funny stuff and I'm pretty sure we attracted quite a fair bit of attention from laughing about random stuff and talking LoL talk loudly.... So when we reached Bugis+ and I looked at the time I was kinda worried considering it was almost 8pm, and the event ended at 9+. So we hurried over. While we were on our way to the event venue inside Bugis+, we actually bumped into Kuntee on the escalator. Well, or at least I was the one who recognised him and pointed it out to Randy. KT was there to meet Edgar and HJ for dinner, but we ended up dragging him along with us to go queue for the Gladiator Draven skin. Mwahaha. So as he was valiantly trying to recall his summoner name, we continued talking about lots of random stuff and others while queueing, it was actually still pretty long at that hour but it was kind of fast so we only had to queue for about 10mins or so.

It also helped that there was events going on, and also people playing games on the computers in the area, so we were kinda commenting on their games and laughing about KT's beloved Caitlyn. So that was skin collection. We finally got to the front, and, guess what, all I needed to do was key in my summoner name. I guess thats the good thing, as I didnt need to do some extremely long registration process, so yay! Then we were wandering around after that because as I expected, all the goodie bags were long gone. That... was really sad. Was kinda looking forward to it, but hey, if an event starts at 10am, and its almost the end of the event, would u still expect goodie bags to be around? No yea? I just wish that instead of picking a Friday, they should have picked a weekend instead. So the working interns like us could actually go and enjoy the event as well instead of just all the young kids who are on hols. After all, we're the ones with money to spend on them right?

That being said, I heard that the goodie bags actually ran out around noon, so thats pretty amazing as to the amount of people who turned up to collect it. As we were wandering off to the higher floors to check out the Garena stadium, we kind of saw these standees where you can take photo with? Dont know how to describe them. Those standees with cut out faces and you can stand behind them to take photos? Yea, the standee we walked past was Annie with her Reverse Annie skin, so you could see Tibbers wearing Annie's usual outfit and Annie wearing Tibber's outfit. Cute huh? One of my favourite skins for Annie besides Frostfire Annie.

We made Randy take a photo while standing behind Tibbers... Well actually a few. And we laughed for an insane period of time being that he looked absolutely ridiculous. I would actually post a picture, but I'm not sure how he would take to his face being plastered here in a huge size. Ahahaha. Then we made him stand behind Annie's..... Lets just say I almost couldnt walk straight after that from all the laughing. They actually tried getting me to stand behind Annie. I politely declined. Politely declined meaning avoiding it like a ticking time bomb and changing the subject by quickly heading towards the escalator upwards. Not bad huh? :P

We actually spent a good half an hour walking around in the Garena Stadium shop. Trying on stupid things like the hats and holding up Badger Teemo plushies or Rammus hats/plushies and making Amumu hug KT and Randy. It was actually pretty fun. I think I actually annoyed them to death with Amumu.
Me : Dont you wanna hug Amumu? )':
Randy : No.
Me : Doesnt matter~ BANDAGE TOSS. *Smacks Amumu into Randy's face*
It was actually funny. Cause I did it so fast that he didnt even have a chance to react before he had a plushie smack him straight in the face. Did the same to KT. Just that he was smarter since he saw me do it to Randy. Mwahahahaahahah. I love the Badger Teemo plushie tho. Was kinda hinting to Randy to buy me one since my birthday was next week(back then). He refused. So .... MEH. QAQ.

After wandering awhile for a while longer and just walking around Bugis+ while waiting for HJ & Edgar to reach, since they decided to pit stop at Orchard so Edgar could pick up his 3DS, and since we decided to intrude on their dinner, they finally reached. So we went to meet them. Edgar was already head buried deep in his 3DS setting up stuff and fiddling with it. We were supposed to head to grab some food, but HJ decided to go to withdraw money from the ATM at Bugis, so we waited for him back at the floor where the Garena events were still going on, and Edgar went to go claim his Gladiator Draven skin as well.

There was some charades event going on, where 2 teams had to guess the champion accordingly to their dance. And since it was charades, they actually had to pass the dance on one by one, somewhat like the telephone game thing. It was hilarious watching the dance mutate as it passed from a member to another. They had a whole girls(5 girls) team against a 4 guys 1 girl team. Mostly guys team won. Since, well, they were more knowledgeable. The champion they had to guess was Malzahar, and yes, his dance was pretty complicated to enact out. The girls side somehow ended with the 2nd last person dancing TF's dance (a.k.a Gangnam Style), and the final girl somehow guessed the champion as Ahri. I still believe the emcee confused her. Since he said "It started off somewhat like the running man, then suddenly changes into this (does horse bit of gangnam style)." And as Ahri's dance is Run Devil Run, which does start off with a running man, I presume she got confused. Somehow the other team managed to guess Malzahar. Which is impressive. Wasnt looking at the dance that they were doing, so was a little unclear as to what happened on the other team. But well, Malzahar's dance was pretty complicated I'll give ya that. Cant do it myself either.

When HJ came back, we headed back upstairs to Ramen Champion, unfortunately for one, it was full, and two, it was non-halal so I offered to accompany Randy somewhere else to get food. The guys were nice tho so we went to look for halal food that Randy could eat. Kind of ended up at Manhattan Fish Market. If you saw my instagram, I uploaded a picture of my dinner that day :] Waited forever for a seat, then when we sat down, it was a 4 person booth, so being the only girl I had the honors of sitting in the aisle being the "head of the table". HJ kept mixing up the place for Fish & Co. as well. Was funny as when we were picking out items from the menu to order he kept looking for stuff from Fish & Co. and then he couldnt find it. Our ordering was kinda funny, cause we decided to write our orders down on a seperate piece of paper so that we could reference and not mess up the orders. Waiter decided to not jot it down and memorise it, but there was so much complicated shit that we decided to just give him the paper once and for all and sort it out since they kept changing their minds about x and changing their minds about y. We were ravenous and starving to death at that point, so we just drank our water and drinks while waiting for the food to arrive since they said they'd take about 20+ minutes for food to be served. Soups were served for HJ & Randy since they ordered it. Since me and HJ both ordered Manhattan Fish & Chips as main, it arrived first, considering F&C takes a shorter time to cook (right? I'm assuming here). Decided to wait a little while longer for the others' food to be served. I did help myself to my own chips tho. Mwahahahaha. Forgot what we talked about while eating, just remember some stuff related to SP memories and stuff.

When we finally left, courtesy of HJ needing to rush off to meet his aunt for some ahem ahem stuff, haha jk. I forgot what he was meeting his aunt for.. Uniqlo shopping I think? However we were joking that he was gonna do ahem ahem stuff with her in the Uniqlo changing rooms hahhaha. Anyway so while we were on the way home, many funny things happened. We made up new myths such as the case of the pregnant man. And the case of the stomped. It was pretty darn funny. Since I lived the nearest, I also happened to get off first, so I missed most of the rest of the fun. D'aww.

Anywayz long post coming to an end, I have finally managed to watch youtube videos and view blogs while at work so expect me to post more regularly.

Hai. So I realized that I haven't blogged for a couple of days, so here I am, blogging on the way to work again (a.k.a freezing on the bus). Mobile blogger so useful I don't even. So anyway, as I was waiting for my bus at the bus stop earlier, I decided to take out my glasses and put them on so I could see the bus numbers properly. 

Guess what I found instead? A broken pair of glasses that's what. And I just last used them yesterday evening. What the fudge. I don't even know how they broke ): will post a picture of it later if I remember. Which I have a high possibility of forgetting. Go me. It'll probably be on Instagram tho. Cause chances are that no one is going to check this blogpost again to see if a picture has been added to the mix. Or maybe... Just maybe I could add another blogpost. Just maybe.

On a side note, damn, buses in the morning with barely anyone have freezing temperatures. And I'm also reaching my office. Why is it so quick today? Ta anyway.

God. Work is over. I AM FREE. Here's the good news and bad news for the day.

Good news being that YAY TOMORROW IM RELEASED FROM WORK EARLY WOOHOO! It's some Eat with your Family day thing. Where everyone can go at 4.30pm. Woop.

Bad news being that I still have yet to receive my pay. You got that right. No pay yet ): this is sad considering last month's pay has yet to come either since they decided to put both months together since it was only a week. Sigh. Poor to the depths of my wallet. Mum refuses to give me allowance, claiming that since I'm working I can jolly well pay for my own stuff. ): 

On another note. TPA Bundle is out since like Tuesday and I've been wanting to buy it. But since I have 0 of the champions, and I stupidly bought Thresh the day before it was launched, I can't buy either Orianna or Ezreal & their respective skins. Of course I could just spend $35 USD and buy them all, but being poor and all, not happening :/

Just had dinner with mum at one of my favorite Japanese Restaurants, which is Yayoiken in the Basement of Liang Court. When I went there during its first few opening days, I was impressed. The food is yummy. If you have seen some of my Instagram pictures u'd notice 2 similar items that always appear. Mainly the Zaru Udon, which is their cold udon, and their Fried Potatoes & Sausage dish. Seriously. It's yummy to every degree. Especially the latter. Here's a pic of my dinner tonight. I honestly love the Fried Potatoes and Sausage one. By the way. Yayoiken is sort of a western/Japanese restaurant. So they have some western-ish dishes. The sausages are done so nicely, and kind of have a chewy sensation to it? And the fried potatoes... My god. Lightly salted. And it's not overly oily either. Yum. 


Just making people salivate at my dinner hehehe. And im also making myself crave the food again. Damn. Anyway, now that I'm done tempting people with food, I'm going to take a nice long relaxing shower.

Then I'm going to find out how different Dota 2 is different from League of Legends. In just a bit. When its done downloading. 

And damn. 2 posts in a day. I must really have a lot of crap to talk about. Ta!

I apologize for not having posted recently. You see, my office decided to do something really annoying and applied Internet filtering to their LAN lines. This means no accessing blogger, YouTube & many other sites. It's really annoying to all different levels of annoying. Firstly, if I google something and it links to a blog or a video of some sort, I can't access the site.

How much bullshit is that? It makes my life so much more troublesome and googling things for answers has never been this pathetic. It even filters out some sites as social networking sites. Pete's sake. This is blasphemy. I understand that you are trying to cut down excessive usage of the Internet, but making life hard for me isn't fun either. I have to submit a ticket onto the intranet should I want access to a specific site. Please tell me how I'm going to do that when I need to submit a ticket every time I google a solution? And also, there goes listening to different songs on YouTube. Been repeating the same darn songs in my iPhone for the past weeks. 

I know I'm ranting. But really. A blog is for me to describe my personal stuff. So leave me to my rantings. On my way to work now. Really really tired so when I got on the bus earlier and saw some seats I was like, yay! But no this girl has to sit down on one of the duo seats close to the aisle. (You know those SMRT buses who have 2 pairs of seats facing one another?) Don't get me wrong. There were 2 free seats. Both right next to each other. When I asked her to excuse me, she gave me some time but I had to squeeze in and then sit down. As a result I kinda stepped on a guy's foot when the bus jerked. Sorry dood. Anyway that's just me complaining that she didn't just move in. I do that sometimes when I know I'm getting off soon. But you know, since u're sitting down or in the process to, and you see there's barely any space to squeeze past, maybe at least stand up and out a little so I can get in? It's a free world, sit where you like. I'm just asking for a little help to get into my seat. 

Anyway, reaching my office soon. Ill try to blog more often, but we'll see how it goes. I have this urge to fall asleep right now. Been so tired these 2 days. Ta.

Being an intern is honestly the most boring thing you could ask for. Really. I would rather be attending boring lectures than interning. Why?
  • One of the many reasons would be the fact that I can sleep during lectures while I cant sleep during office hours. Sounds bad but hey, waking up at 7 when used to waking up later is taxing.
  •  The travel journey is way too long. Studying in SP, is just 3 MRT Stations away from home, however now I actually have to travel 4 stations to Clementi, THEN take a bus to work. Overall journey takes about 40+mins. Which is about 4 times the amount of time it takes for me to get to SP. 
  •  Some days I have absolutely no work and I'm driven to utmost boredom... and some days I have to stare at the computer screen carefully post-processing images taken during the products photo shoot. 
  •  That's not even the worst part. I find myself just listening to music all day long. To some, you might want to be in my shoes, but keeping my mouth shut the entire day drives me insane. I need some human to human interaction damn it. 
  •  That and the fact that I'm actually not allowed to surf the net, but hey, bored to bits. You dont expect me to just sit here. This shit is boring.
I would grumble more, but I've been tasked to optimize and reduce the file size of some pictures. Silly tasks that they can do but they are assigning to me because they have nothing else to assign. Ill be back. Composing this post while working is already hard as it is.

Its been some time since I last started blogging. Approximately over a year I'm guessing. Its not exactly the most fun to be doing absolutely nothing at work, so I've decided to start blogging all over again. Today is the first step I have taken towards blogging again. Mainly because I have remade my blog, yes its a new url, and I have taken in a new cover, namely this blogskin I have right now. Anyway, apparently since remaking a blog takes a lot of time, its now 6pm, meaning I can actually start heading home now. I'll attempt to blog more in the days to come, even if its just short posts on how my day is going.
